Walgreens Sales

If you haven't been to Walgreen this week, it would really be worth your time to go. I went yesterday, and got a ton of stuff for only $9, post to come soon, but along with the great deals, they have some Register Rewards with Halmark products. I know that the register rewards with the greeting cards works, because I did it yesterday.
It is being reported that the tissue paper and wrapping paper are also part of the register rewards, so you get a $2 RR if you buy 3, and if you buy 6, you get a $5 RR. Check out the following scenarios:

Buy (6) greeting cards $1 each
Pay $6
Get $5 RR
Final Cost $1 for all 6 cards

Buy (6) 20 ct. Packages of Tissue Paper 3/$1 with-in ad coupon
Pay $2
Get back $5 RR
Final Cost FREE + $3 Money maker

Buy (6) Wrapping Paper $1.99 each (on sale for BOGO FREE)
Use $0.50/1 coupon here (should deduct $1.50 or $3 not sure if it takes it off of the free ones?)
Pay $4.47
Get back $5 RR
Final Cost FREE for 6 roll of wrapping paper. + money maker

Remember with Walgreens you CANNOT roll rewards from one transaction to the next, unless you are buying different items. A good thing to do here if you want to have little out of pocket cost would be to buy the Revlon quick dry polish on sale for $5.99...

Buy (1) Revlon Quick Dry $5.99
Use $1/1 Revlon Cosmetics in the Holiday Beauty Guide 'all things bright and beautiful' (found at the cosmetics counter)
Pay $4.99
Get back $5 RR
Final Cost FREE

If you alternate those transaction, you will have little out of pocket cost and get 3 polishes and 18 items from the Halmark section for pretty much free with change to spare. Let me know if you get it to work!

(thanks for the heads up Hip2Save)
