September is National Library Card Singup Month
If you don't already have a library card, get one FREE TODAY! Our card saves our family so much money. The very reason for this, is that they get pretty much everything (including new releases in dvds, books, magazines, etc) and you don't have to pay anything for their use. You get to keep the movies for a week, the books for three weeks, and everything else is 1-3 weeks. They even have music CD's. You get your card, then you can register your account online, and you can login and reserve movies and books and they will notify you when they are ready to be picked up. Its' that easy. You can put up to 10 items per account on hold, and have up to 10 dvds, and 20 other items, books, etc, checked out at once. Its a great service that you need to start taking advantage of. Another great service of the Library are the Events. Especially the story times. CLICK HERE to view the libraries and the events they are having. If you haven't gone to them before, start now. They area great free activity for you and your family and your kids will love them. Plus its gives you a chance to let them pick out books or movies.
